Out of Fashion Maastricht Edition presented a series of activities and events.

Performance Painted Game

For the opening of Out of Fashion at NAiM/Bureau Europa there was a game by Painted, a designers' collective led by Saskia van Drimmelen and Margreet Sweerts. 

Painted Game was realized by fashion collective Painted in collaboration with students of the Maastricht Theatre Academy.

Film screening Pyuupiru

Matsunaga Daishi made an intimate portrait of his friend Pyuupiru, a visual artist whose body forms the core of his work. Pyuupiru underwent a drastic gender operation. At the Out of Fashion exhibition at the NAiM/Bureau Europa, Pyuupiru will show five self-portraits. (93 minutes). 

The film was shown at Lumière Cinema in Maastricht.

Out of Fashion workshops in collaboration with Academie Beeldende Kunsten Maastricht

In June, as part of Out of Fashion, two workshops will take place for students at the Academie Beeldende Kunsten Maastricht about the interaction between fashion and film. The workshops will be led by Romy Tielman and Niek Pullens.
