Charles Jencks, American architecture critic, landscape architect and designer, gave a lecture titled 'The Garden of Cosmic Speculation'. He discussed his work and spoke about cosmic themes and the question of cultural identity.

Jencks lives in Great Britain and is one of the most important British landscape architects. But he is mostly renowned for his role as a critic, thanks to publications such as 'The Language of Postmodern Architecture' and 'The Iconic Building'.
