What is Meet the Maker?
Meet the Maker is a professional networking event for young designers, architects, performers, and artists. At the meeting, 'makers' can exhibit their work and present it to a selected group of professionals from various disciplines, including curators, writers, journalists, thinkers and policymakers. As a maker, you get the opportunity to enter into a dialogue about artistic and practical questions and about the development of your oeuvre.
Discussion on the cultural climate
During an informal lunch on Saturday 3 November, Meet the Maker offers young talent, from Maastricht and surrounding areas, the chance to discuss the cultural climate.
Doors open to the public
On Sunday 4 November, Bureau Europa opens its doors to the public, giving you the opportunity to show your work to a broad and diverse audience.
This trans-disciplinary networking event is organized by Bureau Europa and The Artist and the Others in collaboration with graphic design studio Studio Noto.
