About
This body of work explores perception as a lived and sensory experience. Through photography, I seek to reconnect with feeling in a context that often prioritizes analysis and meaning over experience. The work begins from a sense of distance and from a desire to return to what is experienced rather than explained.
I am interested in intimacy as a form of attentive presence. By working with abstraction and close observation of nature, light, and material surfaces, the focus shifts from representation to perception. The images do not aim to describe, but to create space for sensory experience.
Light, reflection, transparency, and subtle shifts in form are central to the project. These elements slow down perception and open a pre verbal space in which seeing becomes intuitive and tactile. Meaning emerges gradually through attention and time.
Nature and my immediate surroundings play a central role in my work, as the project develops during walks in which I observe and deliberately slow down. From this experience, the images invite a quieter way of looking, in which perception and feeling come together.
