New hoekkamer presentations

In the new year, we offer emerging young talent the opportunity to present their work in the corner room of Bureau Europa. Three to four times a year, Bureau Europa, in collaboration with The Building / Genk, organizes a special exchange in which artists from Dutch and Belgian Limburg meet and engage in dialogue with one another.

The first makers to kick off the new year are Stefanie Schaut (Genk) and Yense Meij (Geleen). In early February, Stefanie will begin an eight-week period during which she will develop her own presentation in the corner room. In early April, it will be Yense’s turn, who will likewise realize her own presentation over the course of eight weeks. More information will follow.

In the corner room of Bureau Europa, diverse disciplines come together and creative border areas are brought closer to one another. Our ambition is to create a place that is not a classic exhibition space, but rather a meeting place where makers can encounter each other, inspire one another, and learn from each other.
