Of course, Bureau Europa is participating in Museum Night again this year! Our focus for the night will be the baking spectacle 'Heel Maastricht Bakt!', but for those who prefer to seek contemplation, there will also be special and poignant photographs by Maastricht photographer Chris Keulen on display.
Heel Maastricht Bakt!
For Easter, Bureau Europa is hosting Heel Maastricht Bakt!, inviting everyone to bake their own (dream) house and city! In the large hall of Bureau Europa, a true Maastricht in cookie form will unfold, featuring the well-known Maastricht icons, the homes of the Maastrichtenaren, and the baked future visions of its architects. With the Museum Night, we offer a sneak peek and transform the large hall into a giant bakery. Visitors can create their own cookie or house.
Silent Song
In recent years, photographer Chris Keulen wandered through everyday places in Europe. He ignored the big news and other highlights. The world had become fragmented. Wars, polarization, and climate issues were knocking at the doors. It was (and is) a changing Europe. But while darkness marched on, he stumbled upon hidden moments of humanity and poetry. The results of Chris’ travels will be displayed during Museum Night at Bureau Europa.
