From the end of August, the presentation Dark Light by photographer Annemiek Mommers can be seen in the display windows of Bureau Europa. Enter a hushed and darkened world, the woods after sunset. In the words of the photographer: "It's a great experience where I feel a part of nature instead of just looking at it".

What does the forest look like when the last remnants of light hiding between trees and clearings slowly disappear into the night? What happens when it is dark and there are no witnesses in the forest to observe?

Photographer Annemiek Mommers visits the forests of South Limburg together with behavioral biologist Patrick van Veen after sunset and photographs a fascinating world in the light of darkness.
