Changing Ideals 2 The Sequel

19 December 2009 till 19 February 2010

Under the title ‘Changing Ideals 2: The Sequel, NAiM / Bureau Europa presents current social developments in architecture and design.

The first version of ‘Changing Ideals, Re-thinking the House’, curated by Dirk van den Heuvel and realized in collaboration with TU Delft, brought into view how even the personal environment of the interior is subject to a changing society.

‘Changing Ideals 2: The Sequel’ has a similar ambition and once again tries to make the social role of architecture and design visible on the basis of some concrete projects.

‘Changing Ideals 2: The Sequel’ is not only an exhibition, but also a two-month investigation in which various aspects of architecture and design are highlighted. This way, the visitor gets an insight into the future agenda of NAiM / Bureau Europa, which became an independent organization on April 1, 2010.

Films, lectures, discussions and other activities complement the presentation in the Bogenzaal. Some of these projects refer to earlier shows and provide a current status, while other projects look ahead to what can be seen at NAiM / Bureau Europa in the coming years.
