On Sunday, June 16, 2024, the series of events that began in 2020 will continue in the corner room of Bureau Europa. The goal remains the same: to create unique encounters through the Artware events between special places, objects, actions, creators, visitors, and time.
During Artware Event #17, the young designer Claire Sillekens will be the guest. Through her layered research, she questions the complexity of contrasting narratives that unfold simultaneously. Her work prompts critical thinking about how language is used to be understood and how this invariably leads to disillusionment.
Claire Sillekens' work is an aesthetic play that ultimately critiques the inability to find the right words, the inability to take the time to listen attentively, and to become deeply engaged in what is truly being said.
Visitors are invited to attend Artware Event #17 and are requested to choose a time slot for their visit. The event will take place on Sunday, June 16, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with visits scheduled every half hour. You can register by emailing Artware (Artware.pbk@planet.nl) before June 13. Further instructions will be sent after registration. We look forward to seeing you there!
